DIRECT &I INDIRECT RULE IN ENGLISH: If reporting verb is in present tense (says/say), the tense of reported speech does not change. Pronouns and words like ‘my’, ‘you’, ‘your’ change according to the subject and object.
DIRECT & INDIRECT RULE IN HINDI : यदि Reporting Verb present tense (says/say) में है, तो Reported Speech का tense नहीं बदलता। Pronoun और ‘my’, ‘you’, ‘your’ जैसे शब्दों को Subject और Object के अनुसार बदला जाता है।

Indirect: He says that he eats mangoes.
